SPRING INTO 2026!
We have some exciting things coming up over the first few months of 2026 at Oasis Church Waterloo, so we’re sharing them early for you to get the dates in the diary!
A wide range of Sunday topics, new weekday evening theology sessions, and those all-important events in the run up to Easter! There are loads of opportunities to get involved, to learn, to eat together, and to engage with God, each other, and our community. If you are unable to join in person, feel free to visit Oasis Waterloo – YouTube to enjoy our sermons online.
Keep an eye on this page as more info will be published soon. Our regular activities will also continue, so if you’d like to join a small group email smallgroups@oasiswaterloo.org, or to help us pull Sundays together by volunteering, email volunteering@oasiswaterloo.org.
March
Sermon focus: Joshua and Sin
In March our Sunday sermons will draw the Joshua series to a close before beginning a new series on Sin. On 1 March we will look at Joshua chapters 6–12, “An Angry God?”, asking what was going on with the walls of Jericho, why Achan was stoned to death and what to make of the conquest narratives. On 8 March we will turn to chapters 13–24, “Committing to Living in Community Together,” as Joshua divides the land and gives his final speeches. From 15 March we will begin the new series on Sin. On that day we will explore “Retribution” (personal sin and hell), followed the next Sunday by “Repair” (structural sin and building hope), and finally “Repentance” (what it means to turn around).
Dates for the diary
Tuesday 10
Theology on Tap – 7pm in the community space: “If we’re not saving people from hell, what’s the point in evangelism?”
w/c 16 March – Lent Suppers
This Lent we’re creating spaces to share food and company together, and for people to get to know others from the church who live in their area, so we’re hosting Lent Suppers across London! If you’d like to be welcomed in to someone’s home to join them for dinner (or lunch) – please contact welcome@oasiswaterloo.org by 1 March.
April
Sermon focus: Easter, Eco church and Davi
In April our Sunday sermons will focus on Easter and launch a new series on Difficult Emotions that will continue into May. On 5 April we will celebrate with our Easter all‑age, child‑friendly service, welcoming everyone to share in the joy of the resurrection. On 12 April we will host an Eco Church panel, exploring faith and creation care together. From 19 April we will begin the Difficult Emotions series, reflecting on David’s story in the Bible and reflect on how God meets us in our deepest feelings.
